promINOX® 1.4301 „extra MATT“
1.4301 (X5CrNi18-10), AISI 304
Our promINOX® 1.4301 is an austenitic (non-magnetic) 18/10 chromium-nickel alloy steel with a matte rolled surface.
This stainless steel sheet is mainly used for roofing and wall cladding and stands out for its excellent metal working quality.
promINOX® resists water, steam, humidity, food acids and weakly organic and inorganic acids.
The steel polishes well and its good malleability makes it the material of choice for deep drawing, edge bending, roll forming etc.
promINOX® 1.4404 „extra MATT“
1.4404 (X2CrNiMo17-12-2), AISI 316L
Our promINOX® 1.4404 is an austenitic (non-magnetic) stainless chromium-nickel-molybdenum alloy steel.
This stainless steel sheet resists corrosion and acids and is often chosen for high stress exposures in the pharmaceutical industry or in coastal regions.
Other applications include particular environmental chloride stress as occurring in swimming pools, de-icing salt and de-icing salt mist along highly frequented roads and bridges (mixture of melting water and de-icing salt raised and dispersed by the vehicles).
